Source		 It offers arguably the sportiest performance in the segment and an upscale cabin. The Mazda CX-3's spirited performance makes it more fun to drive than the Encore, and it costs about $2,000 less. The Crosstrek makes a great choice if you don't care much about power and handling. 

This Subaru costs more than many of its competitors, so it doesn't provide as much bang for your buck.		 Its only engine option is severely underpowered, its front seats are a little uncomfortable, and its standard features list is short.
